Bahrain Marina Development Company (BMDC), the master developer behind the transformative Bahrain Marina project along the eastern waterfront of Manama, has announced the completion of 75% of the first phase of construction, in line with the project’s schedule for full delivery in the fourth quarter of 2026.
The company confirmed that total project completion has now exceeded 75%, while construction progress on the Bahrain Marina Residence (BMR) has reached approximately 45%. Current works include the installation of floating docks at the marina, alongside advanced finishing on the external zones and interior mall — all executed to rigorous international quality benchmarks.
On this occasion, Mr. Reyadh Yousif Sater, Chairman of Bahrain Marina Development Company, stated: “Achieving 75% completion in the first phase marks a pivotal milestone that speaks to the strength of our execution strategy and the professionalism of our teams. Bahrain Marina is envisioned as a premier waterfront destination that blends upscale residential living, retail, entertainment, and marine culture — all in the heart of Manama. We remain fully committed to quality, safety, and timely delivery.”
Engineer Hisham Almoayyed, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Head of Project Development, added: “Construction is progressing in accordance with the highest engineering standards, ensuring quality execution at every level. We are applying global best practices in building and finishing, with a strong focus on architectural precision and structural integrity that reflects the luxury and refinement Bahrain Marina represents.”
He continued: “All concrete work on the Bahrain Marina Residence structure has been completed, with brickwork finalised from the podium level and up to the 20th floor. Current workstreams include façade installations, interior finishing, and mechanical and electrical systems — all under close engineering supervision. Our commitment to detailed execution is what sets this project apart and positions Bahrain Marina as a new benchmark in modern real estate.”
Once complete, Bahrain Marina will feature a fully integrated mix of freehold residential apartments, a state-of-the-art yacht marina, a contemporary marine club, commercial and leisure outlets, and vibrant public spaces and walkways. The development is set to redefine urban living and marine tourism in Bahrain’s capital,offering a destination that combines lifestyle, investment, and innovation.
