Reyadh Sater: Government Cooperation Supports the Delivery of High-Quality Investment and Development Projects
Gagan Suri: Phase One Reaches 92% Completion and Bahrain Marina Residence 84%

His Excellency Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, conducted a site visit to Bahrain Marina, located on the eastern waterfront of the capital, Manama, where he reviewed the latest construction developments and completion rates across the project’s various components.
His Excellency was accompanied during the visit by Eng. Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Municipalities Affairs; Eng. Saleh Taher Tarrada, Chairman of the Capital Municipal Council; Eng. Aleya Yusuf Yahya, Director General of the Capital Municipality; and a number of Ministry officials.
His Excellency the Minister and the accompanying delegation were received by Rasheed Mohammed Al Maraj, Chairman of the Social Insurance Organization; Sh. Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Chairman of Osool Asset management Company, Reyadh Yousif Sater, Chairman of Bahrain Marina Development Company, and Gagan Suri, Chief Executive Officer of the company, alongside members of the executive management team and the project team.
The visit included a tour of the project site, during which the delegation was briefed on the progress of Phase One, which has reached 92% completion, as well as Bahrain Marina Residence, which is now 84% complete.
The delegation also reviewed progress at the Marina Club, the yacht and boat marina and Marina Walk, in addition to the remaining stages of development, completion plans and operational readiness preparations for the project’s various facilities.
Commenting on the occasion, Reyadh Yousif Sater, Chairman of Bahrain Marina Development Company, welcomed the visit by His Excellency the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and praised the continued cooperation extended to the company by the Ministry and relevant government authorities.
Sater said: “We are proud to welcome His Excellency Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak to Bahrain Marina and to provide him with an overview of the significant progress achieved across the project’s various components. The visit reflects the attention government authorities place on high-quality investment and development projects and their role in strengthening effective partnerships with the private sector.”
He added: “Our continued cooperation with the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the relevant authorities has supported the project’s progress and facilitated the implementation of its works, reflecting the Kingdom of Bahrain’s supportive investment environment. We remain committed to completing the project to the highest standards of quality, ensuring that it makes a distinctive urban, economic and tourism contribution to the capital, Manama, and the Kingdom as a whole.”
For his part, Gagan Suri, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Marina Development Company, confirmed that the project had entered an advanced stage of delivery, with the majority of construction works nearing completion and the focus gradually shifting towards fit-out works and operational readiness.
Suri said: “Reaching 92% completion in Phase One and 84% at Bahrain Marina Residence reflects the substantial progress achieved by the project teams and the commitment of all partners to delivering the development in accordance with the approved plans and the highest standards of quality and safety.”
He added: “Our current focus is on completing the finishing works, facilities, infrastructure and operational systems, while ensuring that all components of the project are ready to provide residents and visitors with an integrated and distinctive experience.”
Bahrain Marina is one of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s most prominent integrated waterfront developments, bringing together residential, commercial, marine and leisure facilities within a single destination on the eastern waterfront of the capital, Manama.
The project is expected to enhance the capital’s appeal as a destination for living, investment, tourism and leisure, while supporting the growth of the real estate and tourism sectors and introducing new and integrated experiences for residents and visitors.
